INSTRUCTION

Eligibility - Concert pianist, Dr. Marcos D. Flores, is pleased to announce he is now accepting students of all ages and all levels for Piano Instruction.  Space is limited and a waiting list is available.

Location - Instruction is offered at Christ By The Sea United Methodist Church located at 3755 Highway A1A Vero Beach, FL 32963. Church Office (772) 231-1661.

Curriculum - Areas of study include: classical, popular, and sacred literature; theory; technique; ear training; and/or improvisation.  Students choose their own areas of interest and one-on-one lessons provide each student the opportunity to progress at their own pace. Studio recitals will be held in Spring and Fall each year on the church’s new Concert Grand Steinway with an annual ceremony of awards and a reception following the Spring recital.  Studio seminars will be held periodically (approx. every two months) by age groups.  Competitions, music festivals, master classes, and piano educational events will be promoted to the interested students. 

Tuition - Lessons are 1-hour or ½-hour weekly.  Tuition is $60 per hour or $30 per half-hour paid on a monthly basis. Due to Dr. Flores’ direct involvement with the church’s musical ministries, these rates are offered lower than the standard national fees for doctoral level private instruction.  Please view the Policy page for more information, or visit the CONTACT page.
